Why does kakashi need to use MS for kamui but obito doesn't?

Kamui is a dōjutsu originates from Obito's Mangekyō Sharingan. He did use his Sharingan whenever he uses Kamui.

Kamui is a mangekyou technique exclusive only to Uchiha Obito's eye.

Kamui distorts space and time, we haven't seen Obito's face close-up when he is using the technique to suck someone inside the other dimension.

I am assuming you are talking about the Konan fight where Obito phased right through a handfull of paper bombs as he was fallig down a dried up sea in the Hidden Rain Village or the rock tragedy whilst using a two tomoe sharingan? It was either Kishimoto trying to prevent the readers from discovering Obito's Mangekyou Design or it was an error.

Nope, using susanoo or tsukuyomi or amaterasu is the same. Remember sasuke using ms, it blacked out just after bee's and danzo's match.
On the other hand, kakashi has been using kamui for a long time now. Countless times in the war itself. And no blurring whataoever.

how do you know kakashi isn't getting blurring? you do realize he has a perfectly good eye that isn't going blind... he's accustomed fighting with one eyed as well.. why would he complain?

he already hinted to itachi his eyesight is deteriorating
