I agree with some point in your post but other than that, there's no need to hate. It's what makes Naruto interesting where the main character aren't that strong from the start. If he had made Naruto stronger from the start then the whole story would be a little boring. It's interesting sometimes when the have a main character who isn't strong but somehow managed to defeat the opponent regardless whether it's based on plot or not.
The part where I agree with is Naruto is indeed weak. I did say there is something interesting about the main character being weak but not that weak. There's a limit to making a main character weak, what's worse is the main character is the type of person who would rush into things without thinking first, example; the fight against Deidara regardless whether it's based on his emotion at that time or not. It would be interesting if Naruto had at least Minato's intelligence and not strength or if he had mastered the Flying Thunder God but spamming Rasengan and Kage Bushin is just idiotic and boring. If it wasn't for Kurama, Naruto would've only be on Chunnin level the least, nothing more, nothing less. Him mastering Sage Mode is thanks to Kurama's chakra, I think I heard somewhere where it mentioned that, maybe I'm wrong.
His training with Jiraiya was pointless, in my opinion. He didn't learn any Nature release, he probably trained his Taijutsu a little and how to prevent Genjutsu and how to control Kurama which he failed. I'm sure he also learn a lot about Chakra control. But that's about it. It would have been interesting if he had learn one or two nature type during the time skip and then learn another nature type with Kakashi. I'm not trying to hate because Naruto is one my favorite character.
My version of current Naruto that might be interesting to me;
> Mastering Flying Thunder God due to him aspiring to become like the Fourth Hokage. [he did state that he considers the Fourth Hokage as his idol before it was stated that the Fourth Hokage was his father.]
> A good amount of intelligence.
> 3 nature type and a Kekkei Genkai nature release.
> Mastering Kurama [✓]
> A few more techniques other than Rasengan and Kage Bushin.
> Good amount of speed [as himself and not Kurama]
If he had all that then this war would have been interesting but right now, I don't see him defeating Madara in any way even if he has a Rinnegan which he hasn't mastered so it wouldn't help him one bit.
