Has Luffy surpassed Ace?

I'm on episode 525 and I say yes. Now that he has Haki he can take out a Logia user, so IMO I think so.

dude you're damn right! is just ace was roger son so he would probably progress stronger come on ace unlocking haki at the age of 10

but since his bounty is currently less than wat was ace's bounty, then that wise his not surpassed ace

Ace is incredibly resilient and has a high tolerance to pain, so I think if Ace was alive, he'd be stronger than Luffy by a lot. However, I think he and Luffy are just neck and neck.

I believe they are both equally strong but sooner or later luffy is going to surpass him.
