There is nothing wrong with fanboys

I think this is obvious, take Blaze Release for example. It's hard to come across anyone more rational and yet he is publically assumed Itachi fanboy.

As long as the topic is not Itachi he won't be bias and even when it is Itachi he can give his hand to the twist and admit his side might not be write.

Im not sure if this post is a compliment or an insult. Reminds of Draegod who labelled me the uchiha leader of NB. Funny thing is im not even a fan of the clan itself though if i see them being underestimated even after what the manga has claimed about them i come to their aid. Hate towards the clan is what pushes me and the same can be said about sasuke.

Anyway a fanboy/girl is somebody who disregards all forms of logic. Taking a characters side doesn't make you a fanboy if what you state is within reason and you can back it up, that makes you a fan. Anything other than that, and you are a fanboy/girl

There is a difference between being a fan of a character and being a fanboy/girl of a character. Just defending your favorite character doesn't make you a fanboy which some people seem to believe. A fanboy/girl are simply illogical. Being a fan of a character means you can state a fact and then back it up.

I'm going to apply this to Naruto so it fits in this section but really this goes with everything.

I always hear people saying "Uchiha fanboys are the worst" or "Minato fanboys are retards" and stuff like that. In todays NB if you have a avatar of any character from Naruto your fair game to being called that characters fanboy.
I myself have been accused of being a Sasuke fanboy for sporting a Sasuke avatar. :sy:

You will also be accused of being a fanboy if you debate or argue for a character which the other person doesn't agree with.
I myself am a fanboy of Darui . This doesn't mean that I am oblivious to his faults and weaknesses and who can beat him. Being a fanboy of a character is fine and there is nothing wrong with it, as the majority of fanboys/girls are logical.
The whole concept of a fanboy/girl is just someone who take a liking to something.

So what do you think ? Fanboys are fine but the illogical and just plain unreasonable ones aren't.
This may seem obvious to some but the majority of NB group all fanboys in the same category due to the minority. Look at the "Minato fanboys" thread right now and you will see how people are being grouped for the ignorance of just a few.

As long as the fanboy is able to stay unbiased, than there is nothing wrong with being a fanboy.
However, fanboys that are biased, are just a big annoyance. You cant discuss anything with them.

Neither an insult nor a compliment. I was merely stating the truth. Your favourite character is Itachi and you don't hide it. This makes you an Itachi Fan. Yet you never strain from rational and logic path. And the only time I sensed you being bias was in one of those Itachi vs Nagato threads (if my memory serves me right).

It's true you charge in aid of Sasuke from time to time but as you said he is hated by most alot of illogical arguments are made againt him, yet I don't think you do the same with any Uchiha. I've seen you arguing that Madara was being over rated.

So I was only giving an example as to fanism is not necessarily a bad thing. One can be a fan without being bias.

I'm a fan of Orochimaru, but it's obvious there are stronger characters and I can argue with no sides in practically any vs thread.

I don't really care everyone is fanboy one way or another. The people who don't admit to it I've found out they are the most secretly bias of them all.

But let's just say as a Sasuke fanboy we're by far the best of them all. Actually we are so God-like NB had to get a troll to make 13+ alt acccounts just to try to ruin our image. :rofl:

For example a thread will be about Minato and his FTG and some idiot would post "Lord Sasuke solos"
