Oh wow, that's an old one xd I don't remember all the details (I looked it up ~5yrs ago?) but it had to do with some sorta card game. Also in Japanese Ino = Boar, Cho = Butterfly, Deer = Shika, there are references thoughout the anime to these animals as Shikamaru's forest was shown to be protected by deer, Chouji's developed powers make him grow wings like a butterfly, and Sakura teases Ino by calling her "Ino Pig"

I have a book entitled 1000 Facts About Space. From what I remember, it does not emit enough light to be scene by a telescope and can only be detected by calculating its gravitational influence on the light of nearby stars.

Otherwise it can be anything really, hence the terminology "matter"

A very special place called Old Sacramento that I visit when I go on vacation to California. It's basically a wild wild west town with the most interesting shops. This from your homework? lol I'm in linear algebra/calculus. I've seen a similar question and it's pretty simple, just takes a bit of time to do.

let:
- race one be R1
- race two be R2
- the end time of race 1 be denoted by |ΔTR1| (absolute value because Time cannot be negative)
- the end time of race 2 be denoted by |ΔTR2| ("")
- distance of head start in R1 be ΔDR1
- distance of head start in R2 be ΔDR2

So the first time around B gets a head start of 48m A beat b by 1/10th of a min = 6 seconds = |ΔTR1| = 6 seconds
The second time B gets a greater head start of 144m and is beaten by be by only 1/30th of am in = -2 seconds = |ΔTR2| = 2 seconds

Next we need to calculate the distances. For A it's the same in both races 1 & 2 as he's the one giving out the head starts, so 480m. For B however distance changes

1st race 480m - 48m = 432m = ΔDR1
2nd race 480m - 144m= 336m = ΔDR2

So what's the difference between these two? If we compare...

432m - 336m = 96m ΔDR∀

So apparently a difference of 96 meters makes a change from winning by 6 seconds to losing by 2 seconds, the differential being calculated by...

6s + 2s = 8s = ΔTR∀

Now we simply take the averages and put distance (ΔDR∀) over time (ΔDR∀)

98m = 12m/s
8s

Now I would like to ask you if I'm right
