One of the most old school combos I have is using this with Fire Style: Intense Pain. Aim it over your opponents' head and combine it with this move. It should be hot enough to burn the area around him to lava.
Yes, it would take less time to activate such moves as Kirin or Rain Tiger at Will because of the tornado. It's a stormy and dangerous effect that you can explore rather well.

That combination is really smart O_O

What can this be used for?

I then release the wind chakra all at once combining it with dust. This then becomes a huge powerful stream of wind combined with dust. This would knock the enemy away from you and also disorientate him greatly possibly blinding him for a short period of time, giving you an immediate advantage*

I then expel all of the wind chakra that I had gathered, controlled carefully in a large, explosive bullet of wind chakra and if it is strong enough to go into mid range it should be strong enough to knock you backwards into long range if you timed it properly and got the angle right.*

In a fight with Mathias, we're fighting at the End Valley with you know the two statues. I jumped off the top of one of the statues and used a wind jutsu attempting to destroy his clone and at the same time propelled myself across to the Madara statue. It was pretty epic, you gotta love using the terrain.

As I do this I channel wind chakra into my hand and as I wave my hand I release it. Forming it into multiple blades of wind that each travel at a different angle through the air towards your clone or whatever >_>*

Yeah it was, he countered with a same rank fire jutsu so the aftermath was, the face of Hashirama's statue was blown away and molten rock was left O_O

My gathering wind chakra and shooting the bullet at your clone.

Effect:
Well, it would probably have the same effect as a normal bullet only no shrapnel would be left behind.

One of the blades is tilted at a 45 degree angle heading straight for his right knee. The second one is heading toward his upper body close to where his neck and chest meet and is horizontally facing. The final blade is vertically facing and is heading towards your left arm where the arm and upper body meet.*
