You're stupid, Gaara activated his sand armor because his sand shield couldn't keep up with Lee's speed. So he had to. The scratch on his face means nothing at all it has been clearly stated that the sand armor isn't resilient and it's purpose is to absorb the impact.

WHEN is it stated that the Sand Armor ISN'T RESILIENT? If its purpose is to absorb impact and it managed to deal with the Extreme Lotus, it'd have to be PRETTY damn resilient.

If Lee used the extreme lotus Gaara would not have been dead, are you done pulling things out of your ass? The outcome would have been exactly the same, Lee would be half dead on the ground begging for Gaara to spare his life. Again, he didn't break through his sand armor with this punch, he just scratched it.

First attack Lee landed scratched Gaara's face, BECAUSE HE WAS UNARMORED. If he'd used the Extreme, or even the Initial Lotus at that point, Gaara would have lost. Hell, if he'd just kept attacking and not allowed Gaara time to use the Armor, Lee would have won.

Who cares if it was Gaara's toughest fight to date? It still wasn't enough to even make him bleed or injure him at all. If Gaara used so much chakra then how come he wasn't exhausted at the end? How come he wasn't injured just a little bit? You want to contradict manga's facts little fanboy? He did bypass the sand shield and kinda broke a bit of the sand armor., but in the end he didn't even scratch Gaara.

I'll end this by saying that if Lee actually managed to push Gaara's too far he would have unleashed Shukaku just like he did in his fight against Sasuke. Now why do you think he didn't resort to using Shukaku? Well frankly because Lee didn't put up much of a fight, he didn't feel like he needed to. Here I just gave you 2 mangas facts proving that Gaara totally owned Lee. You can't contradict those, you lose.

Lee went mad bull on gaara,but unfortunately he wore himself out too much using the lotuses,especially the firdt one that failed,that was what made gaara get the advantage,before lee went gated mode,gaara attacked him,weakeneing him even more,so when he entered,the strain on him was much more than normal,and the fact he was kinda exhausted beforehand shortened the time he would hve spent in gated mode. Lee at that time was really very strong,just that he wasnt too experienced in using those moves yet. If not,he could have won that match,kishi trolled him greatly in part 2

If you look at the aftermath of the Etreme Lotus, Gaara's Armor is ALMOST COMPLETELY INTACT. And he himself stands up a moment later, seemingly none the worse for wear.

That just seems wrong to me.

Gaara wasn't armorless at this moment, he can activate it his armor of sand at any times, again, the results would have been exactly the same.

Yes and you know it, Sasuke actually made Gaara bleed, unlike Lee.
How can I not know what? If Gaara unleashed Shukaku there's nothing Lee could have done, he would just get crushed just like Dosu during the chunin exam break. But frankly he didn't have to resort to this.

The manga proofs are still on track :
Gaara wasn't injured a bit after the fight
He didn't need to use Shukaku.
