Seriously, what IS the big deal about the EMS?

What IS the big deal?​

It's really starting to get on my nerves, on every single thread I look at involving Sasuke (and every thread that doesn't involve Sasuke because no matter what the topic, his fanboys always drag him into it somehow) someone always mentions how he's unstoppable "because he has the EMS."

I know that that the MS is a mega-powerful technique, but what makes the EMS any better? As far as I can remember, the only difference is that it's eternal; ie. you can use MS techniques as much as you want without going blind. I don't remember anyone mentioning any other upgrades or massive increases in power.

Just because Sasuke can use his MS without the risk of losing its light now, he still has to worry about chakra; all of the MS techniques use colossal amounts of chakra, especially the oh-so-special Susano'o. He's still the same Sasuke as before. Look at the battle against Kabuto, did his EMS give him any significant advantage whatsoever? Nope, Undead!Itachi still did most of the work.

So why does everyone act as if having the EMS automatically makes Sasuke some sort of epic Uber-God? Why does having the EMS make everybody put him in their top-5 lists? It doesn't do anything, it just makes him less likely to lose an eye. Apart from that, there's no significant power upgrade whatsoever.

Someone help me out here, because I am genuinely confused. What is the big deal about the EMS?

That's what people keep saying, "We haven't seen it's full power", but there is no full power, I don't remember it ever being stated that there was any other power other than the blindness-negation thing.

The only thing I can think of that might be an additional ability is gaining the attributes of the other person's eyes, which is probably why his Susano'o is more developed, because Itachi's was.

I can see why everyone thinks they're useless since Hashirama defeated the best ems user with ease.
And people compare naruto to sasuke making sasuke's new eyes look weak even though we haven't seen its full potential.

Yes I believe Sasuke will receive more power-ups because he needs to catch up to Naruto's level, so it's frankly that we haven't seen its full power yet.
btw, doesn't perfect susanoo require EMS?
