Sasuke X Sakura discussion

I think it would be a good for Sakura's love to overcome and conquer all.

no it wasn't a filler. Also he admitted to Sai that he couldn't tell her how he felt yet..

Naruto loves her, so in his eyes she does deserve him.

In my opinion, they don't fit together at all. I know the manga has been hinting at those two becoming a couple, with Naruto having a crush on Sakura in the beginning, but in my opinion it would never work out.

Why?

Because Sakura is still too hung up on Sasuke and I don't think that'll ever change. Even after he tried to kill her and made it very clear he doesn't care for her at all anymore (contrarily to when they were teammates when he cared about her like a friend), she still crushes on him. I know that feelings aren't easy to switch off, but if my crush tried to kill me and made it clear he doesn't care what happens to me, I would be having second thoughts and would eventually give up on him.

I can't see Sakura giving up on him. She seems to be stuck between the image she created of Sasuke when she was younger and the real him and seems to think she'll be able to change him.

Now as we all can remember, she confessed to Naruto but Naruto called out on her lie and didn't believe her. And confessing to him in order to get him to stop going after Sasuke, was something she shouldn't have done.
If, by any chance, she decides to choose for Naruto, I think Naruto would be wary of her feelings and a part of him would always be wondering whether he was just her second choice because she couldn't get Sasuke. And if Sasuke stays alive and interacts with them again, I think Naruto would be constantly worried that one day, Sakura would decide to leave him for his best friend, the one she has been crushing on since she was a little girl.

Plus I dislike the fact that she only started to really acknowledge Naruto as something more than a troublesome teammate she had to deal with when he was making huge process with his training and she saw how strong he was getting.

And I know her hitting him is meant as comic relief, but honestly, I wouldn't want to live with a girl who smacks my head every time I say or do something she disapproves of. But hey, that's just maybe me *shrugs*

And at this point in the manga, I'm really wondering whether Naruto still has romantic feelings for her or not.

I'd say they are better off being best friends, or in a sister-brother relationship, because I don't think they fit together at all.
That's why I don't like this pairing.

How would you guys feel if after all Sasuke has done to Sakura, she still ends up with him. And if Sasuke just starts to get feelings for outta nowhere, when has never shown any real sign of attraction or feelings toward her.

I personally prefer Sasuke X Karin only because I red haired Uchiha/Uzumaki kid walkin' around with Sharingan and extraordinary healing and sensing abilities would be epic.

Don't know if Karin still wants Sasuke. She didn't look that happy the last time we saw her. I think she gave up on him the moment he tried to kill her. At least that's what I gathered from her expression in that chapter.

Naruto at that point saw the 12 yers old Sakura. I've keep telling this, didn't you guys saw how the picture of Team 7 breaks and how Naruto has the version of 12 years old Sakura in his head instead of the 16 years old Sakura?
Kishi has been placing hints here and there, we just have to see it.
And in 540 what people saw as romantic, was actually Sakura getting over Sasuke, surely but slowly.

Sakura knows that Sasuke is not being himself and wants to save him from this that is why she sees what he is doing "not him", Naruto is also doing the same but yet people don't complain about Naruto being "hung up" on Sasuke. Sakura will always have a connection with Sasuke, but it doesn't have to be romantic. The rest is just opinions.

That's because Naruto accepts Sasuke for who he is and knows for the most part what Sasuke is going through regarding his feelings to his family.
Sakura grew up in a loving family and aside from the slight bullying in the beginning she had friends, whereas Naruto grew up hated and ignored and Sasuke came home to see his whole clan slaughtered by his own brother.
Try as she might, Sakura will never fully understand the pain Sasuke is going through, whereas Naruto has a general clue as to how Sasuke feels. Plus at this point Naruto is the only one who hasn't given up on Sasuke and still tries to get him back. (Be that stupidity or true friendship, I leave that up for the others to decide)
Sakura still has feelings for him, but she has mostly given up on him already.

I'm not saying Sakura can't have a connection with Sasuke - I'm fine with them being friends or at the very least teammates, I just find a romantic relationship between those two unrealistic. Same as with the NaruSaku pairing.

Naruto has no idea lol, Naruto didn't get his whole family slaughtered before his eyes, they where already dead before they where born. How on earth would he know how he feels?
