Shinra Tensei is dangerous but it's not gonna one shot someone like Kisame.

Kisame is pretty smart too once he notice that he is blasting every 5 secs he can use that as an advantage.

Banshō Ten'in (the pulling in) gives Kisame the advantage to get closer to Deva (swordsmen skills) And Kisame clearly defeats him in Taijutsu.

Chibaku Tensei: Pain has to leave for prep. Kisame viewing this would observed that he is planing a big one. GSB will take care of it.

Shinra Tensei easily OHKO the boss summons, why would Kisame be different ? He could heal himself, but that would take time, allowing Deva to make a Chibaku, which does actually not take a long time at all to do.

I could assume the scenario can play both way. Pulling himself in will not make Deva defeat Kisame up close

See how close he was? Kisame isn't doing anything to Deva with that distance.....its not like Bansho Tennin should be used anyway.
Again using this tech means he has to be confident to take out his opponent up close. He would dare do it to Kakashi without Asura pain helping him out. He wouldn't dare do it to SM Naruto without Pretra Path to be there to absorb the sage out of him. Thats why it was best to catch Naruto at base form. Deva wouldn't dare trying to solo Kisame with him pulling him to himself. Bansho Tenin shouldn't be use at all.

Shinra Tensei gets stronger depending on how much force Deva puts into it...while it won't KO him in one shot, he isn't tanking a big enough one.

I'm just gonna drop Bansho Tennin as it is useless.

Shinra Tensei is Ninjutsu but can GSB absorb it? Nope.

Kisame has the advantage if the Deva path doesn't use CT quickly, since it'll be easy for him to abuse the 5 second delay between his ST attacks/defenses. He's going to take a bit of time to figure out that there's a time limit but he also has amazing stamina. I don't think he could destroy the CT orb though - it IS Nagato's ultimate attack anyways.

Since OP didn't specify knowledge, knowledge is automatically Manga knowledge, and Pain has knowledge on all of the Akatsuki, Kisame included.

GSB isn't destroying nor absorbing the black sphere.

It isn't destroying it because it doesn't even come near the firepower of a Bijuu Dama+RasenShuriken+Yasaka's Magatama, which was needed to destroy the core.

It isn't absorbing it either because it is gravity, the fact that you think it can absorb Shinra Tensei makes me not want to take you seriously....Shinra Tensei is pushing someone using Gravity, by saying it can absorb any of these attacks, you are saying it can absorb gravity, which is idiotic.

Their fire power failed because the jutsu already started building up.
