- Jiraya first uses it to send two guys flying in the street
- Then he shows it to Naruto by using it to grind a hole in a tree
- Naruto learns it, uses it on kabuto and sends him flying in a spiral motion
- Giant Rasengan used on fake itachi in shippuden just creates an explosion
- Naruto sends deva path flying with a rasengan. No visible damage
- Konohamaru also uses rasengan to push a 6pop body back, and kills him. No visible damage
- Then during the war planetary rasengan is used on Muu which pushes him back and shows visible damage on his stomach where rasengan has ground into his body.
So what does rasengan do? Does it push people, send people flying, grind into the target, or just create a massive explosion? Out of all the attacks its probably the one that has the most inconsistency with regards to the effect it has on opponents. Is it to do with the chakra pumped into the ball, the force applied or is there another reason? I can't seem to figure it out....
