Did this before but I want to update it a bit. The first 2 are from my first thread and the other one a good portion of people already know about but I feel had to be brought up (it's the one I'm currently reading). If anybody is interested in a detective/medical manga I'll give one on Monster too. If you feel like making one you can go ahead and slip it in here (I'll add it to the OP).

Liar Game
This manga starts off with a woman who is often described as purely honest. In fact, others say that this honesty is one of her biggest weaknesses. This makes her extremely vulnerable when she is chosen to take part in the Liar Game. In this game, she and another opponent are given 100 million yen in cash. But by the end of the month, both will be forced to pay back this huge amount. This is a chance to gain up to 100 million in profit, but everything you profit off of, turns into the opponent's debt... and even if she achieves victory, the end might not be as simple as it appears to be.

This manga is basically set for those looking for stuff similar to Death Note/Code Geass or something on the same stance as that. Intelligent beings clashing at each other with extremely well thought out tactics and tricks.

Shingeki no Kyojin
I will tell you in advance that this is a frightening manga for a lot of people. There are extremely gruesome scenes at times that some may prefer not to see. The plot has to do with mankind cornered into a city surrounded by a huge wall of defense. The reason for this is the existence of Titans; huge humanoid figures that solely kill humans. Not for food, but for the very idea of slaughtering them. Very little is known about these Titans, but the fact is that they're becoming a huge threat, and humanity is becoming closer and closer to extinction.

If you are looking for a manga that will make you crank out the old night light and start thinking about morals, I think this is probably your best bet. A bunch of action packed into one.

Soul Eater
This is indeed a Shonen manga and has many of the typical Shonen attributes you'd expect to find. However, this manga seems to pick up on what other Shonen are typically criticized for. There's plenty of character development, and characters dying is not out of place in this manga at all. There are more like 3 sets of main characters than 1 particular one.. each with characteristics of their own. A great story in which two types of people, weapons and technicians, work together to fight evil souls and kill off damaging witches.

A bit of comedy can't hurt

...I want to read Hingeki no Kyojin but I'm full with mangas at the time xd Imo...Right now I want to finish DN and Pluto, get up to date with LG and finally finish Akira! xd I can't belevie how I haven't finished Akira.
...So...if I were to recommend something for your list...I'd recommend you Neon Genesis Evangelion. I personally enjoy the anime more, but for what I can see the manga (Sadamoto's) is gud too. Is very mind screwing but you have to be patient with it (just like with SE that seemed to be very light-hearted). Also attention to the details is very important because the little anecdotes and divergences among the characters are key for the deep psychological analysis made on the characters by the end of the series (hahaha tho the movie "Death and Rebirth" is the real ending xd Very sad and violent...I actually felt like shocked lots of days after seeing it...-_-)
AH! A note on NGE manga...it's has happened 15 years and Sadamoto doesn't seem to be hurried to finish it---so def the anime is the better option xd

Hehe.. that's a pretty mature one. I'm surprised that I can read that many chapters when I'm so far behind on my list

Yep I think I got a bit into that but not that far. The one with Red right?

Yeah man I know how you feel. Death Note's not a very long series so that's a good one. You were reading the manga after watching the anime if I'm correct? You told me about NGE a lot so I'll have to add that on my large list X_X only 15 chapters from getting up to date on Soul Eater though (great read btw). I just hope I can pay attention to little details.

Kuroko no Basket, Cage of Eden.
That's the most commonly talked about sports manga from what I've seen. Haven't checked the other one.

On another note has anybody read any of the 3 series in the OP?
