Shino, definitely in the top 3 of konoha 11

Shino, although highly underrated has shown his worth many times in the series.
One of the better rookies, he was always calm during the invasion. Easily countered the genjutsu and defeated kankuro.
In the anime, he was able to stand his ground against the likes of guren with kakashi and yamato while the others struggled.
Still, he is shown to be like the other idiots in konoha 11.
He is the 2nd or maybe the 3rd most clever shinobi after shikamaru and neji(maybe)
He is better in combat skills than the likes of shikamaru and kiba.
Always been better than the kunoichies.
No comparison with choji who just has muscle power to show.
So, yeah he maybe the best after naruto(definitely) and neji(doubtable)

I would have to agree. He has actually never lost a fight in Cannon. He has only ever failed in filler in combat. I wish he had a bigger role. He is a great character

Rock lee was one of the strongest at the time of chuunin xams. Now he has developed the least out of konoha 11.
As for sakura, she doesn't compare to shino in any way xcept her strength which is useless unless she comes in contact with the enemy(more so against shino who can launch attacks from a distance)

I agree with you up to Kankuro, since then Shino has done practically nothing since then except fail. In terms of canon fights he was useless against tobi, and then Konan nearly solo'd his entire clan......not such good feats.

No he doesn't. His intellect isn't as good as Shikamaru's but he is tactically better then Kiba. Kiba on the other hand has much stronger combat skills, since shino is useless in taijutsu, speed and strength (databook 3 stats).

The kunoichies are debatable, but for the most part I agree. Choji would wreck him with killer intent and butterfly mode. I would easily put Shika, Naruto, Lee above him, but the rest are debatable, although I would put him as the weakest of the boys.

Lee has gates. Neji's Byakugan would see his bugs since his eyes allow him to see chakra hence making his bugs uselss since they feed off his chakra. Sakura is very under rated. She was trained by the hokage personally....Shino doesn't stack up with these shinobi.

Call me when Choji can hit a punch without the help of Shikamaru and Ino, why do you think they are paired? The strongest punch, the ability to restrain someones movement etc.. Alone Choji can't just hit Shino. He got insect clones, and his insects can drain chakra from Choji. He can also form a shield of them. Now we can't know if he has enough insects to cover all of Chojis enlarged body, since we've never seen it, but on the contrary neither have we seen him, not being able to.

Id love to see Shino beat Lee in gates. Id also love to see Shino beat Neji. Neji's Byakugan renders ALL of his bugs useless whether there hidden or not. The byakugan allows him to see chakra, Shino's bugs feed off of his chakra.
