I don't know how they can even stand a chance with the current conditions of the Alliance, plus Naruto and Bee. They're all exhausted from their previous fights and they haven't even rested one bit. Kishimoto has the talent to pull out secret trolls and i for once feel that people are judging too quickly on whether Shikaku, Inoichi, and the rest of the HQ died. I have a small hunch that Shikaku had a chance to survive with some miracle. Am i right to say they're alive? No, but just because Madara managed to stop the brains of the Alliance. It doesn't mean that Shikaku just suddenly died because of a blast. Now i will say i want people to die in the story, but many of you miss the point. The Edo's were mainly the gist of this war. They didn't have much of a relevance in the matter until the Juubi came out. You see they all went through all those adverse matches just to feel a slight advantage over the enemy. When the enemy goes bringing the Juubi that shows that the tide is changing and now the bad side is going to start dominating the war.
At the current events that i'm seeing from my own perspective i don't see the Alliance winning this fight by their own. Something has to stop this fight before the Alliance completely dies in the spot. Naruto and Bee are the Alliance ace's but even at their current status they can't even hurt a fly. If they had full chakra then perhaps they could have a winning chance, but since that is ruled out. I'm afraid the Alliance will lose this one, but something tells me that interference can take place at any moment. What that means is that a Juubi vs Alliance might happen again. I would love for this fight to end because i don't want Kishimoto to make the Alliance win by a fluke tactic. I want both parties at full health in order to make the last battle interesting for everyone. Since Naruto and Sasuke are the most important characters it would only be right that they work as a team to defeat this evil menace. I have a feeling they might team up.
Now look at the events that i have planned for the manga to end. I am not saying that it will happen, but i am only giving suggestions:
1.) Madara states that they were losing control over the Juubi since it was manifesting to a more powerful version of the monster. I feel that they can fight the Alliance for a few chapters if Kishimoto wants to prolong this fight. Make the Alliance completely lose the fight that means Naruto and Bee are both unconscious on the ground. The rest are either barely standing, severely injured, or dead. That means that Madara and Obito will retreat to Mountain Graveyards to the flower of Hashirama to maintain control of the Juubi and perhaps place a seal to keep it trapped for the moment.
2.) Some of the people cry in the part of the Alliance because they lost good friends and comrades. Shikaku manages to communicate perhaps through Inoichi or he just makes it over to the area. He basically talks to the divisions about a plan he formulated to defeat the Juubi. The rest of them scatter to the medical tents to heal the wounded. The Kages are rescued somehow. Tsunade is in a secret room to perform some healing arts to recover her chopped body. Naruto and Bee are in beds to recover their energy from fighting non-stop against the Akatsuki.
3.) We shift to Sasuke's story for awhile so that he can find the answers that he was seeking all this time.
4.) Madara and Obito have a few scenes of interaction between the two. Obito seems to be having a second thought about the Eye of the Moon Plan since Naruto seems to have hit a screw over his head with his determination.
5.) The Alliance discusses of a strategic way of defeating the Juubi. A few chapters passes with the Alliance recuperating from the insane back to back fights.
6.) Sasuke finds his answers but won't change sides with the Alliance just that easily. Orochimaru tries to head to the Mountains Graveyard to pay a visit to Madara and Obito.
7.) Orochimaru decides to make an alliance with Obito and Madara for his own pursuits. I think Obito and Madara agree so they lend Orochimaru a few powers because of the Uchiha's eyes in Obito's lab. Either way they might make Orochimaru a lethal foe.
8.) Kabuto might turn good, so he heads his own way. I believe that he takes Itachi Uchiha's words seriously to the point that he wants to make his own path. He goes to the Alliance area first.
9.) The medical-nin are helping the wounded heal. The Kages finally have recuperated except Tsunade.
10.) Naruto and Bee finally heal completely back to their original normal selves.
11.) Orochimaru glares with his insane lust of power since he feels stronger than ever.
12.) Madara and Obito contemplate about starting the war where they left out.
13.) Kabuto heads into the area of the Alliance. The Alliance starts a ruckus after seeing Kabuto in front of them. Kabuto states that he doesn't care about the war anymore that he just wants to speak to Naruto. Naruto comes and speaks with Kabuto. Kabuto tells him that the war will begin soon that he needs to be prepared for what's coming his way. Naruto tells him why he is helping out. Kabuto explains to him that Itachi simply made him realize that he has been living in the shadow of someone else. He also tells Naruto that he had run in with Sasuke.
14.) Kabuto tells Naruto that he should seek out Sasuke. He tells Naruto that he feels Sasuke is ready to settle their differences once and for all. He also informs Naruto that Sasuke helped Itachi in stopping the Edo Tensei. Naruto is perplexed upon hearing this from Kabuto. Kabuto also tells Naruto that Sasuke has information that can perhaps help the Alliance beat the Juubi.
15.) Sasuke dashes in the forest and Naruto starts to dash away to search for Sasuke.
16.) Kabuto leaves to search for something in Orochimaru's hideout.
17.) Naruto and Sasuke crosses paths again after their hiatus in the bridge. Sasuke tells Naruto that he must fight him because this will determine his destiny and path to walk. Naruto vs Sasuke happens. Despite Sasuke's efforts he loses the fight. Sasuke realizes that he is destined to help Naruto. He reminisces about Itachi telling Sasuke that he must help Naruto.
18.) The Alliance reunite and Sasuke joins the mix with the information that will lead to the defeat of the Juubi.
19.) Kabuto faces Orochimaru in a fight.
20.) Naruto and Sasuke face off against Madara and Obito with Juubi.
