Common Misconception about Itachi

I'm making this thread because everyone seems to think that Uchiha Itachi and Orochimaru fought when itachi was age 13 , But actually the manga stated otherwise, The manga said itachi was around 11, Let me show you

Here we have Sasori stating "We haven't done this since 7 years ago , Since orochimaru left the organization"

Now what was itachi's age in part 1? according to databooks "Age Part I: 17-18"
So Basic Math would show 18-7= 11 ,

Now some of you will go on and say, Kishi messed up, He didn't think it out when he was making Part 1, True some things weren't thought out in Part 1 , But lets take a look at Part Two

Now here we have Kisame's account that It's been 10 years since Orochimaru Left the organization

Itachi's age at that time was 21, 21-10 once again= 11,
So no it wasn't a mistake, It's constant , Itachi seemed to be involved with akatsuki before Killing his clan, Possibly on danzo's request, That would also explain how he found out about Tobi's existence In akatsuki .

We know The Reason Orochimaru left Akatsuki, the little brawl they had

Itachi doesn't activate Mangekyou, Because he doesn't have it yet , Itachi showed he has no problem activating his mangekyou when threatened/or attacked

To summarize, Itachi was involved in akatsuki before Killing his clan, Part 1 Akatsuki was dormant, barely making any moves, Danzo may have gave itachi a mission after finding out about the group, Itachi Got promoted to anbu captain at 13....It's safe to say he was in Anbu at around 11......
Yes a 11 year old kid owned a Sannin in his 40's

On topic: Wouldn't be the first time Kishi made a time line error, to get in the group you need to be a missin nin, meaning Itachi wouldn't have been able to join Akatsuki if he hadn't abandoned the Village first. Itachi didn't use Mangekyo against Orochimaru because he simply didn't need to.

Where exactly in the manga was that stated? tbh it honestly wasn't...Oro never said he tried to get itachi's body at that moment...

It was only AFTER orochimaru got defeated by itachi that he started having a fetish for the uchiha clan
But he couldn't go after Itachi.. because as he said to kabuto, itachi was more powerful than him

Oro had to do something to trigger said reaction.. and it couldn't have been the ritual

did you read that link!??! lol they are discussing Oro's fail in getting Itachi to joing them, not taking over his body. In comparing this to Sasuke I mentioned it because Orochimaru did the same thing except he was successful in getting Sasuke to join him.

At this point he wasn't just jumping into using the ritual lol that's not even something Orochimaru would do. He tries to test and persuade someone to seeing him way. He failed THIS with Itachi, for one he couldn't get past him genjtusu.

But the test at the beggining aka the pre ritual brawl is a fight o.0
the little brawl of sasuke vs oro before he started the ritual was a fight,

you're right, it's obvious he got shut down before literally anything could be done..but you still have to consider that as a fight...the deidara vs itachi was wasn;t it?

Look at Orochimaru's leg.. 1 is infront.. indicating he was making a step forward the moment the genjutsu hit him... As I said...Itachi wouldn't attack for no reason .. unless he was sure the person intended harm to him..
