were similar to Tsunade's in anyway, so it could've been plausible he uses Mokuton in a way as an offensive absorption technique.

I agree. Its very similar to preta path, just that i dont know if the absorbed chakra goes to making branches and leaves or the user can use it himself.

I think the tree that old Madara was hooked up to was Hashi's technique that absorbed the Kyuubi's chakra that maybe the REAL reason he lived so long and might have contributed to him being able to possess the Rin'negan (I said possess not activate, just for the record).

I just thought that maybe... the WOOD DRAGON use by hashirama to bound the kyuubi while absorbing its chakra may also be the same as what KISAME and SAMEHADA ... The abosorb chakra is being used by hashirama if this is what happen it only means that HASHIRAMA grew strong when MADARA use the kyuubi in the fight.. HASHIRAMA logically never grew tired as the fight with madara goes to distance...And if this maybe true hashirama is a bad match up for madara with kyuubi...

ithink itspossible seeing that the white zetsus are prtty much mokuton copies of hashirama like madara said. just weaker copies but basically from mokuton. and zetsu is able to absorb the chakra of other people

Nice thread however i thought it was somewhat confirmed in chapter 606. Not necessarily that hashirama replenished his chakra the way you claimed in your theory but rather, he has abilities to replenish his chakra. [
