I actually found these on Tumblr, I just typed up the character's name, Asuma, and there's all of the fanarts, gifs, collage, etc of him.

I think it's really about time some major characters have died. Although, I am admittedly biased towards Madara/Obito at the moment.

This is interesting, I see a lot of love for Shikaku after his death.. Enough for some people to actually speculate that there are chances that they are still alive after Kishi clearly said "Shikaku and the others die!" on the last panel of this chapter.

Because of the way Shikaku, Ao, and Inoichi worked while under the ultimate pressure. They were hardcore.

Lol, yeah, when the Juubi shot the 2nd one and Shikaku said it was heading their way.. I got goosebumps when Shikaku said "its our last job" as if he accepted his death just to send out a strategy that may or may not work.. that is quite honorable, haha

Yes this. When he said it's heading our way, i literally stopped breathing bc i did not see that coming at ALL. but shoutout to all the people at HQ, i love how they all just accepted their deaths and made sure to tell everyone their final plan before the connection was cut off. tbh i teared up but yeah it was really honorable and got to my heart, espically seeing little Ino cry & Shikamaru's face.

I couldn't agree any more. Shikaku is some serious threat to Madara, he could come up with a strategy within seconds. Much respect to Inoichi too for his astonishing telepathy abilities and Ao for keeping HQ up to date. Why does the Hardcore ones get to be killed? :T_T:

Yeah, it was honorable, and it's war. I hope Shikamaru gets it that its war and there's very little to no time for grief, and I hope Ino does too. They got to become the "minds" of Shinobi Alliance somehow..

It tears me up that Choza is the sole one left of the original Ino-Shika-Cho.. It's already going to be hard on Shikamaru and Ino, and we couldn't forget it'll be tough on the big guy, Choza too..

Isn't it funny, the "body" of the original Ino-Shika-Cho still lives as the "mind" of the original Ino-Shika-Cho is dead. Ino-Shika-Cho parallels with the Shinobi Alliance, their mind (Shikaku and Inoichi : Shinobi Alliance's HQ) is destroyed while the body (Choza : Naruto & Shinobi Alliance) is still up and going.

I couldn't agree more. :T_T: Shikamaru is my favorite character too, but with his father's death it is going to make Shikamaru's character far much more stronger, complicated and much more interesting.

I'm really, really very depressed about it.

I hated seeing Shikaku die. Poor Shikamaru! It was hard enough with Asuma..

And Ao was so cool, his look and just everything. I loved that character so much. I thought Ao and Mei would have made a perfect couple and I don't get why Kishi would ruin a chance for Mei to get married since that's a running gag.

It was all just so sudden. I almost had a heart attack when the whole thing happened.
