Is Hidan really dead?

So someone challenged me in saying that the Chikara filler is not really a true part of the series because I said Hidan died.

What do you guys think, are anime fillers like Chikara not a real part of the series, or are they BS, and why? :shrug:

I think he is still alive. PLUS, the Hidan that was made in the filler wasnt Edo Tensei. It was something else. It probably just turns into the person you are trying to make... Therefore... There were 2 alive Hidans in the Naruto Universe, according to me! haha

Although, manga-wise, Hidan is dead/dying from lack of nutrition. I believe it was stated in an interview.

To answer the thread question. Yes Hidan is not dead. He can't die, plus fillers/anime are productions not the real thing from Kishi himself. If you want facts, Manga is where you should look and last time I checked he was still buried.

He's a clone. In today's episode Kakashi specifically mentioned that the Hidan that they fought in the desert is a "counterfeit" just like the clone of Naruto that Kabuto made.
