Ok this thread is cuz a lot of people don't understand how strong itachi truely was at his strongest point. Now obviously edo itachi would be him beyond him actually being at his best so for this thread ill use the itachi that battle sasuke before he died and ill explain to you why kakashi, jayira, oro, guy, obito, or anyone else who have battled itachi or have thought about fighting itachi would lose.
First off his genjutsu alone puts in on a different level alone. He has 3 of the 4 strongest genjutsu ever shown. Ka (shisui ms) was in itachi crow, its the ultimate genjutsu so strong the user doesnt even know its happening. Tyskuomi can torture someone for up to 72hrs in an instant. And izanami is so strong the user must sacrifice an eye to use but its worth it considering you can put them in a loop even if they can't see hear feel smell or whatever. Itach. Genjutsu is so good he could trap someone just by point that shit Cray.
He didn't use a lot of ninjutsu cuz he didn't like to kill but his ninjutsu is apretty amazing also. He was a master at fire and water jutsu. He can make shadow clones and have them explode whenever. Worst come to worst he could use ameterasu their are maybe 5 ninja ever fast enough to dodge it. None of the people I mention above is that fast. Sasuke is probably the fastest guy itachi encountered and he couldn't dodge it. If by some miracle he can't win with amterasu then he still have susasnoo. His susasnoo is special cuz of the yata mirror which deflects all known ninjutsu. And totasuke blade. A spiritual not physical a spiritual sword that seal anything it pierce
His taijutsu is quite as op as his ninjutsu and definitely doesn't compare to his genjutsu but with his speed, shariugan and mastery with shurikens make his taijutsu easily above most of the main characters shown in the show.
Now even I know itachi does have his limit. But his only known weakness was the fact he had been dying for years so as a result his stamina was way below average. But even with that holding him back let's be honest that still enough to make itachi a top 5 character. Tsykuomi alone can only be broken out of by another uchiha. If they can break out of that it doesnf matter cuz he still has ka. So as you can see thanks to 4 op jutsu their is no shinobi itachi can't beat.
