Has sasuke truely surpassed itachi?

Itachi is dead so just being Alive means he has indeed surpassed his Forever loved by many fans Brother, Itachi. Skillwise however, I don't believe he is better then Itachi, where Sasuke wouldn't have been able to defeat Kabuto Itachi did while he was technically dead. That says a lot to me.

Sasuke hasn't surpassed him in genjutsu from what I've saw, but in raw, and pure strength he has. Use of ameteratsu as well. I think if they were ever to fight again, and Itachi was trying for real he'd beat him with his genjutsu alone. Also I believe there Susanoo are equal.

like I say almost every time... most of the top ninjas don't get killed... they kill themselves...pretty much all the Hokage, Itachi, Nagato, and so on.
Anyways Sasuke only has chakara over Itachi. Other than that... Itachi > Sasuke Med-High diff.

well for one your wrong sakura and tsunade think he used drugs because of how fast sasuke had developed and two why would sasuke take drugs when in manga he clearly says he hate oro's way of thinking and experimenting on others so instead of saying he took drugs from a hypothesis sakura and tsunade thought of next time you show proof.
i agree that sasuke has more than surpassed itachi, however a couple issues with point you've made. Izanami, we truly cannot speak on fully since it was more or less just created out of thin air as a way to get around kabuto being too OP to defeat...that said, since kishi hasn't given details to the contrary, we can in fact assume that just like tsukoyumi, itachi can inflict it on anyone including sasuke, except that sasuke most likely wont be able to break it easily like he did with itachis tsukoyumi in their battle. I say this because light background on the move stated that it was meant as a disciplinary tech for uchiha who misused their sharingan in battle so if it can be easily broken by them, how was it useful at all? therefore we must asume (until kishi proves otherwise) that it will in fact trap sasuke if itachi can manage to get him in it. As for op, sasuke only ever stays in sharingan form for shorter periods simply because of his usage. He would go ms (or now EMS so its not an issue) and spam susoono and be shooting out ameterasu while doing so, burning massive amounts of chakra (for an uchiha at least, i still say he is around kakashi level on chakra reserves) whereas itachi would enable his ms and use it for nothing more than more accute observation for discerning traps, strategies, and taijutsu...more or less giving him an edge in a fair fight and beyond that he used it for little else but hoping an opponent would look him in the eyes or the ring and boom tsukoyumi, game over. Yes he would use susoono but much more sparingly than sasuke does both because he knows he has low chakra levels, and i also like to think that a tactician like himself would prefer to hold strong techs back until completely necessary, whereas sasuke would spam them left and right as intimidation. Of course, true comparisons cant be made well since it can be argued that if they foght while sasuke has EMS that means itachi ould be edo tensei (immortal) and if it was while itachi was alive, sasuke would stand a better chance (since he more or less beat him before) however i feel that if itachi truly wanted to win he would have easily succeeded in taunting sasuke nito spamming his ms techs more, effectively dropping his chakra levels more, or best case scenario, blinding the eye for whichever tech he overused. Also on your point about izanagi, i believe it was said that all uchiha with ms sharingan could use it, it was simply a very rare use and forbidden because it made you immortal (by turning your death into an illusion for a brief moment) at the risk of that eye going blind temporarily depending on the time length of using it, or if you max out your time, you go blind in the eye used to activate it. Sasuke could learn it if he was taught, its just something that most uchiha (as cocky as a clan can get) would never think they needed to use because by the time many would decide they needed it, they would be seconds from death anyhow.
you are exaggerating it too much.
Itachi used tsukiyomi, amaterasu katon, countless ninja tools , and susano in that fight.
If he was that weak, he couldn't even stand there.
If he was almost blind as you say-, sasuke would have roflstomp him.

It was susano that took a huge toll on itachi and made him so weak that he couldn't even stand properly, before that, itachi as good as sasuke was.

Lol even itachi said that genjutsu really can't be used in a fight..it only works On people that are not accepting the path they were givin sasuke been accepted his path he would break that in no time..key word is was it was once with his crow it's not anymore itachi does not have that power anymore even if he's brought back again.

Izanami was created for izanagi..izanami is for thoes who don't follow/accept the path that was givin to them..sasuke has accepted his path that genjutsu would be pointless to use on sasuke.an sasuke has not been misusing his sharingan in battle...an what makes you think sasuke will spam his ms tecs he spammed it on raikage because he had to,he spammed it on danzo because it was part of his plan once he seen danzo kept looking down at his sharingan every second so he forced danzo to use up every izanagi inorder to trick him with genjutsu..now if fighting itachi he would not spam there would be no need to or he might just spam his susanoo because the arrows are very hard to dodge..

U shouldnt be sentimental here cos its itachi..I love itachi but ill say d truth..Lets take a good look at madara..He z got d eyes,d ruggedness, d chakra and d stamina..All these qualities are possessed by sasuke alone.. and most of all,they look very much alike... Isnt it obvious that sasuke is just d re-incarnation of madara..Its just lyk itachi fighting madara..anoda fact is sasuke has another kind of sharingan thats why i call him an HYBRID..His ms is red nd its got 6 red wheel and ems mixture of red and black and he z got 9 wheels no wonder d eyes can spam what even shocked tobi "using susanoo and amaterasu at d same time" and now with the ems more are still coming..Itachi is a genius,,sasuke is also a genius though itachi may be smarter bt it takes more to just outsmart sasuke..They both have a very nice taijutsu,but sasuke has got more ninjutsu in his arsenal...And again sasuke has got more battle experience than itachi..We all could see d number of ninjas he defeated while with oro and even kakashi confirmed it...Even if they both spam susanoo nd they both run out of susanoo of which i know sasuke can keep his much longer,,and then he goes kirin,,what will b itachis fate...Am tired of typing but by now,y'all should know sasuke has surpassed itachi d moment he awakened his ms let alone now that he has d ems..
