Ninjutsu
Ninjutsu are basically ninja techniques that allow the user to do something that they otherwise would be incapable of doing, including the usage of weapons. They vary greatly in purpose, with the simpler ninjutsu serving such tasks as transforming the user or allowing them to evade attacks. These techniques are often second-nature for experienced shinobi, who can use them at will. More complex ninjutsu manipulate one's surroundings or utilize the elements, respectively serving such tasks as healing others or manipulating nature transformations.
Chakra
Chakra is the molding of the physical energy present in every cell of the body and the spiritual energy gained from exercise and experience. Once molded, it can be channeled through the chakra circulatory system, which is to chakra as the regular circulatory system is to blood, to any of the 361 chakra points (called tenketsu) in the body.
What is Katon/Fire?
Fire Release is one of the basic elemental nature transformations. It is performed by molding superheated chakra inside the stomach before releasing it via the lungs and mouth. There are also variants to this in the form of some mediums such as the use of gun powder, explosive tags and chakra flow into a weapon.
What are the Weakness / Strengths of the Katon element?
Fire is weak towards water and strong against lightning. Fire can be augmented with Wind however depending on the power of the technique it can either help it or cancel it altogether.
What are other basic elements in Narutoverse?
Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Lightning. Is this a trick question? >_>

Once you sit, meditate and be one with the fire. Try to imagine the properties of fire tell me everything that you feel, it's characteristics and all. How it's hot is not a proper description!
After you describe what you feel, the fire will burn out as it's only a small fire. It is your job to keepthe fire burning! Don't let the fire burn out! Keep the fire going with your chakra!

As I look at the fire from afar I decide to sit next to the fire in a meditative stance and close my eyes. I can feel the strength of the fire warming up my face. I feel it warming up my clothes and I decide to scoot a little back at a safe distance but close enough to feel its warmth. I picture the fire in my mind and focus on its light. As I feel its warmth, I imagine what it must be to be fire itself. It is hot (xd) but I imagine the colors and strength of the fire. I imagine its energy, not necessarily the fire itself but the energy that emanates from the actual fire. I try to feel its flow within me, concentrating on becoming the fire. Wild and untameable. Destructive yet nurturing. I then decide to channel my chakra to the small fire. I deduce that too much chakra will make it big and powerful and will kill me. x__x So I decide to use a small amount and then build it up little by little. I then work on a small steady flow to keep the fire going. I begin to warm up my hands and bring them close to me to breath into them. (I do this when this is cold to stay warm xd)

First, I want you to know that most Katon chakra is gathered within the stomach. Then molding it, sent towards the lungs/throat and then releasing the fire through the mouth using shape manipulation to create a it’s shape. Some techniques are used by applying chakra into a scroll, or using it via the hand like the flame rasengan. Unless stated otherwise, assume that the technique comes from the mouth. Understood?

Describe to me the different types of fire. Imagine a real fire, there are several ways in the real world that the fire can be shaped naturally. Think of the fire itself spreading through, imagine how inferno is like.

I can only think of....
Ball of Fire
Energy that emanates from fire (also solar energy like from the sun/microwave)
A stream of fire
Manipulating fire to take a shape or form like dragons or tigers or birds O_O
Colored fire like blue or green when you apply a gas to it >_>
things can be set on fire like plants, trees, and grass or buildings
There is different ranges of fire but the majority of them appear to be....short to mid range
Mainly ball of fire and stream of fire.
Lets cover the stream of flames vs shaped[projectile like] fire. What do you think would be the advantages and disadvantages of both these types? I am looking for a specific answer here so think hard about it.

You have to keep blowing into it to make it get to where you want it to go. If you stop blowing it loses its momentum and power. Strength-wise it can be made to cover a large area and case a lot of destruction. As for weakness, it can be cancelled with an equal or higher rank of wind You can't augment its speed or destructive power as that would mean you would have to stop blowing it into a stream.
Shaped
Once made I think it can travel on its own. It's speed and power can be augmented with a rank lower wind technique. Disadvantage is that it can only travel a certain distance before the air causes it to dissipate as compared to a stream style where there is a constant flow of fire.
Not bad. Both disrupt each others vision. More so for the fireball than the stream. Vision gets blocked on stream version depending on the size of the jutsu.

The first technique within the spoiler, the fire release technique is the basic fire technique. It is a flame version of the fire where you shoot out constantly to reach it’s target. Now this just is short range therefore you can not use it beyond that range.
( Katon: Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance TechniqueThe second technique is the mist blaze dance technique. You will require a series of hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger, then blow flammable gas to the area desired. It will not ignite until a fire source has touched the gas.

On the second technique, you mentioned it's a flammable gas. Does that mean when you blow it out it is clear gas and ignites how? Does it work like Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning?

This technique is very simple, you mold your Katon chakra and then spit a fire ball [single] at your opponent. Though you will need to use shape manipulation to create it like a fire ball.
( Ryu Kaen Bakufuu ) - Dragon Flame Blitz
This one is done the same way as the Fire Release: Small Fire, except your shoot three fire balls at the opponent.
( Kaen Shuriken Ranbu ) - Blazing Shuriken Dance
This one I included in the shaped version of the fire, because you are really just throwing a shuriken and then engulfing the shuriken on fire. Then the shuriken travels like a projectile. Notice the range on this jutsu, it is short range, doesn’t mean that you’re shuriken will only travel short range. You just need to engulf the shuriken on fire quickly within short range.

On the last one: So let's say you throw shuriken at your opponent who is mid-range. You infuse them with katon before they leave your short range. Do they travel mid range with the fire active or does the fire dissipate and leave the shuriken very hot? What if the opponent was long range?
I know it doesn't sound realistic but we are fighting as anime characters in manga environment xd they are inflamed.

This technique, by using shape manipulation, you would need to shoot out a flame of fire at your opponent. It’s quick and easy! Also the heat itself is so hot, it has the potential to knock someone out.
( Katon: Kimuchi Amura ) - Fire Release: Wall of FlamesWith this one, you require an open flamed lighter. Just like the description says and no you can not use an existing fire with it. It may seem like you should be able to but this is not the case. With the flame exposed you manipulate the fire to grow by applying your own chakra into it. Creating a wall made of flames. The jutsu itself seems useful, but I’ll let you explain that yourself. Note that it has given you a clue about a combination jutsu. What could that be? How could it be used? Something to think about IMO.
( Katon: Hibashiri ) - Fire Release: Running FireThis one is very useful in my opinion as it has some potential with the combination of a wind jutsu. Basically with all flames version of the fire, you create it and use it to make an inferno! Through shape manipulation, you would create a circle of fire that travels through the air, or shaped like a ring that travels from the ground.

OK I read them through. The last one is the one that got me a bit. What does it mean that it "travels through the air"? Is it like when you smoke and you make a "donut" in the air? And the ring on the ground.....does it form around the opponent's feet like a snake or does a line travel to your opponent and then make a circle? Did that make sense? O_O
