Well as of we see now.Whole Madara and Obito are stuck to one object "infinite tsukyomi".it's the best what they can do.this tsukyomi which can be used randomly and easily by Itachi is now key technique to change the world.so all we now know or manga wants us know that the ultimate jutsu of uchiha is limited to infinite tsukyomi(which is a lateral version of tsukyomi).If there have been any other jutsus which is more badass than this then y dont they try?
