Well it had all the elements. It had the great 4th Hokage fighting for everything/everyone and it also had the most elusive villain [unbeaten until that point]. AND now you can add the Sensei-Student element to it as well.

At this point it still remains the only defeat Obito had.

Lord Kakko, the most evil being on Earth, begs to disagree. He was too powerful for Obito.

actually showed that he can use intelligence while fighting

Gaara Vs Lee.

Interesting fact: gaara should have died four times against hidden lotus.(True) He should have been ripped afart when lee was throwing him all over the room, his organs should have been crushed when lee punched him at 100,000,000 MPH, he should have been ripped in half when lee catches him with his bandage, and when he fell on a tiny bit of sand, he should have been crushed anyway.

To me it was the fight that had the greatest entertainment value. I remember constantly going between laughing out loud and just sitting there with my mouth open staring. The gaara bit was boring though only interesting part was the Lee fight.
