Most of you guys never read a superman comic or graphic novel. Most of you guys were babies when dragonball, dragonball z /gt, was on air. SOooooo, chill. superman is the ultimate op guy, Goku, like any other op anime character owe their existence to the original hero... Superman. Show some respect.

Haha this is so true, I wonder how many people saying goku are even old enough to know what pre crisis superman is, the golden age of comics lead to all manga works today so without superman there probably wouldn't be a naruto or goku, each super hero has powers and weaknesses, sure if goku got a hold of kryptonite superman would be in trouble, but if superman got a hold of goku he could just fly into the sun. People saying that goku will win because he's a god are rediculous, are you saying kami? Can beat superman, or that king Kai could defeat superman?

The only thing this thread tells me is there are 148 people who don't know what precrysis Superman or the golden age of comics were. As transroboball said above if it wasn't for the golden age comics manga wouldn't exist.

EDIT: Apparently no one knows Dragonball cannon that well either example: Broly's official power level is 1.4 billion and Goku's strongest official power level is 500 million in SSJ3 when fighting Kid Buu who was 640 million.

Even Toriyama will agree, like every other comicbook artist and fan, that Supes is the strongest fictional character EVER!

Only ones who truley came close to defeating him in DC universe are Brainiac, Darkseid, Metallo and Batman.
And the first two are considered way more powerfull than Goku, of fictional characters in general.

Yeah superman lost this. Immediately after voting a quick glance at the poll let me know this wouldn't be some ridiculous uphill battle. I half feel bad for the superman fans. Goku teleporting, getting external energy from friends/universe, blasting away supermans lame ass. Their childhood hero defeated. Lets ignore the fact that superman can die.... who said dooms day? Pre crisis superman? Please. No universe, no sun, no power, no survival for that yellow sun needing geek.

I know you didn't know so I will explain. SSj multiples the users base power by 50, SSj2 multiples ssj by 2 and SSj3 multiples SSj2 by 4. Goku's base power level before ssj was 500000 you figure it out. His 150 million level was one time only because of his anger over Kuririn. Goku's highest power level was 500 million when fighting Kid buu on Sacred Kai Planet. Kid buu's and Broly's power levels were officially stated in V-jump. This is all canon so it's simple math. I'm not going to argue with you; I'll just say a lot of things published in V-jump never made it outside Japan and I lived there till 97' so I might know things you don't.
