Kimimaro completely fodderizes naruto's dopplegangers. We notice throughout the series, these shadowclones become mroe and more useless.

So.. Is naruto's multiple shadowclone jutsu fodder or is it worth something still.

I'd say underrated because they do more than just distract they actually allow you to formulate a strategy because you gain from their experience.

Neither imo, if anything underrated.

And they didnt become more and more useless, it depends on how naruto uses them.

Part 1 naruto uses a kage bushin as a decoy to uppercut neji from under the ground.

Part 1 naruto uses his clones as back up support against pre bijuu gaara.

he uses his clones i a very smart way imo, some situations i admit he used them recklessly but over time he learned to use them properly.

their power is completely blown out of proportion. you know their overrated when you see people saying that naruto can beat top tiers with 1 shadow clone.

their durability is also severely overwanked. ive seen some claim that they can tank hits from susano.

naruto as a whole is overwanked as people harp about his and his clones speed because top tiers have actually been amazed about it or have been pressured in manga canon by his speed.

trolled by kishimoto,the obvious strategy with a lot of clones is an attack from all the angles,or suicidal clones(carrying explosive tags)
the latter was never used,and the first was only used against gaara and pain,and lately got trolled again when he made naruto able to make dozen of KM clones to go to battlefields nd didn't think of making a dozen to fight obito

well i see you only picked examples that show kage bushin being useless......against kino he didnt master kage bushin, he just learned to use the technique.....and so he spammed clones....after rasenshuriken training he finally had mastered the justsu....and then later used it to pwn kurama(until he nearly lost due to kuramas influence, and then needed his moms help) and then he proceeded to use his clones to fight half a war himself....just because he is currently against madara, who can tell which are kage bushins, and who is the real naruto, doesnt make it less powerful...

simply the jutsu kage bushin is not useless, and ultimately depends on the skill of the user....naruto who has massive chakra, he can use it skillfully, and currently a naruto clone is a jonin level ninja on its own.......but a say iruka level kage bushin would be weak....


so kage bushin is overrated yes, but it is powerful when used by naruto,
