my reason is you can escape izanami when you have find your true self and dont try to be someone else like kabuto so it wouldn't work on naruto e?

itachi explained he choses the other person s destiny he decides it and he set kabuto s destiny to aceppt his true self that s why sasuke asked why are you doing this for someone like him that means itachi has full and free control of seting whateever destiny he wants to anyone that s how it works if naruto find out and follows that destiny he is free

Well who could stay sane, trapped in a genjutsu experiencing the same thing over and over? Maybe for a couple of days or weeks/months but anyone would get insane after years/decades. Its just a matter of time.

Btw. Naruto as a evil mastermind would be pretty epic :O
