I hate how people say pre crises superman>everything.
Goku is the strongest or will be the strongest in the universe and that's in his anime u can't compare those two fictional characters. in that case I can make my own comic book and the main character will be itachi and I will make itachi>everyone in the universe but that's pretty dumb without a good story or even a little bit of logic now what matters is Which one is more popular who is well known pre crises superman or goku and I think the answer is obviously goku. And that's all it matters.
But just for the heck of it I will say goku>superman.

first off goku and cell where even matched goku knew the fight would carry on ending with them both destroy earth in the process EX: SSgoku vs Frieza........ goku also wanted his son to unlock his "hidin potential". goku never tried a spirit bomb on cell sooooo him giving his all is out the question. the only reason cell survived for soo long was because he was able to regenerate. cell even went as far as to blow him self up in despairation.

Super Buu(SSJ 3 fusion, Piccolo, Mystic Gohan) vs Goku was goku destroyed?? was Kid buu destroyed? exactly

EDIT: and even after all these battles goku became stronger and strong ex. ssj3 vs fat buu goku kicked buu a$$ soooo bad he turnt good and started f*ckin with hercule. buu went thru 5 transformations = kid buu yet was the same match as ssj3 goku soooo somewhere in those few days buu's powerlevel increase 1000x and soo did goku's ssj3's powerlevel

I've reed alot of DC & Marvel comics over the years and i can tell you that prime super contradict it's self every time or better yet DC Comics, Dragon Ball Z does also but dc much much more. Prime super aka Golden Super Man was said to be the strongest being in the universe right but DC stated that there strongest character was The Spectre the strongest in the DC universe then turns around then claims Golden super man is? Anybody who reads DC knows at this point that's completely bull Because The Presence is suppose to be a GOD like figure in the DC universe who created every single god in the DC Universe. In different stories of DC they changed Prime super man abilities one they were saying how he had all these features to turn around to not showing it. I gotta go with goku on this one.
