2. He is equal to Naruto, maybe not in power, but they both can't exist without each other and are rivals

Look at some popular anime:

DBZ-Vegeta as bad, became good
YUGIOH-Seto Kaiba was bad, became good
INUYASHA- Sessomaru was bad at first, helped Inuyasha in the end
AVATAR- Zuko became good later, even if he was bad at first because of his dad

yeah but when a char goes from good to bad it normally ends in a final showdown between him and the main character. sauske started out good he turned evil he stays evil and dies maybe on the verge of being good because kishi does that kinda crap. i haven't seen all of bleach but aizen should be an example i can think of he was good next thing we know bam badass villian didn't come back to being good.

yeah, in Yugioh (original series) the most evil villain is Bakura, who existed during the pharaoh's days, then there is Marik's dark side and Dartz
