Young hiruzen:

Lived down the shadow of tobirama.
Was fodder against juubi, VERY FODDER.
Was sorounded by golden and silver brothers, yet he did nothing, he escaped
So we could say TOBIRAMA > YOUNG HIRUZEN



Old hiruzen:

Defeated Orochimaru
Defeated 2 edo kages, TOBIRAMA AND HASHIRAMA, of course, they both were at 50% of their power, but they were 2.
So, beating orochimaru, 50% tobirama and 50% hashirama is a bigger feat that defeating a 100% TOBIRAMA.

SO:

OLD HIRUZEN > = 100% TOBIRAMA

YOUNG HIRUZEN WAS TOBIRAMA'S SHADOW, so yes, OLD hiruzen > YOUNG hiruzen

- Where the heck did you find the bolded information? I searched Hiruzen's entire

and CTRL + f'd it (search), nothing about "Kinkaku", "Ginkaku" or "Gold and Silver".
- The info you have for elderly Hiruzen was based off of what we've seen him do. It's like Kishi cutting out all of the scenes with Naruto fighting in Shippuden, but leaving everything from Part 1. Therefore, Part 1 Naruto>Shippuden Naruto? No, not even close.
- Hiruzen was said to be the strongest Hokage and the "God of Shinobi", which was the same name the Sage had, for a reason. It wasn't just for sh i ts and giggles.

Well we know that he was about as old as naruto, so he could've been as strong as him, we never know. But, yes, I agree with you I don't think he was stronger than Tobirama
