if you look at him after the battle with the itachi, sasuke lost all reasons and is acting like total fool.

I'd say both, but so is everyone else in the Narutoverse.
I used to look at Sasuke very negatively, but I began to look at the evolution of his character and the way the plot progressed and found that he was bound to act a little irrationally when the truth came to light. What he said to Naruto at VoTE was true because unlike NAruto Sasuke wasn't spared the trauma of seeing his parents mangled bodies. Do you think Naruto and Kurama would get on so well if he had saw the Kyuubi's claw through his parents chest? (yes he saw it as a baby, but he wasn't even a day old and therefore could remember nothing of his ordeal) The way Kushina presented the story was of a tragedy, yes, but ultimately a love story. If Sasuke had been told the story of the Uchiha massacre the same way from Itachi he probably wouldn't have had his psychotic lapse and become some deluded avenger.
