idk but what I do find weird is that the moves of the kyuubi in this episode don't resemble it's normal battle moves.
Usually, when Naruto is in KM, the kyuubi chakra takes the lead and moves in a animal like way. Do you know any fox that would punch, kick, and do some wrestling punch up in the air? Too bad the animators didn't take that common feat of the kyuubi serious in this filler.

but if you think about it they didn't really stray away from the story, kabuto is controlling the kyuubi, why else would it just target certain people? It's the Kyuubi's power but not state of mind.
