Could a genjutsu be cast on yourself?

There are two particular genjutsus I am interested in.

Could you look in the mirror and cast KA on yourself to change your own beliefs?

Could you look in the mirror to cast Madara's dream world Tsukuyomi on yourself to put yourself in a dream world?

The reason I think this might be possible is because of the logistics of Moon's Eye plan. Basically they are casting Tsukuyomi on the moon and the reflection puts everyone in the genjutsu, so a mirror should be able to reflect these genjutsus in the same way. So I feel like the only impediment is whether the genjutsu caster themself can cast a genjutsu on themself. Part of what this would mean would be that Madara himself will be under his own genjutsu if his Moon's Eye plan is a success...

Thoughts? These are probably the only two genjutsus you'd want to cast on yourself anyway.

the main principle of the izanagi is a genjutsu cast on oneself. there are other parts of course, but that is the base.

I love it when people say "Read the manga"... I obviously have read it but you're going to sit there and tell me that izanagi is probably not the exception to the rule? You have to sacrifice a sharingan to use izanagi and have senju dna... that puts it on a whole other level than KA or Tsukuyomi ..... smh did you even read my question or just the title?

Let's say they had Ann alternate personality and wanted to seal it deep within. A genjutsu cast upon oneself would be the best idea: you control the area, the setting, and you can get out whenever you want.
