The Vanilla of all Kekkai Genkai

So after reading the latest chapter, I couldn't help but chuckle. What has made kekkai genkais so powerful and amazing is their rarity. Yes, there was the ice clan, mei and son goku's jinchuriki could use lava release (essentially they were the same). But for the most part we've only seen one true wood release, kimmimaro (dead family though, same as haku), one boil release, etc.

Darui seemed like such a powerful cloud shinobi because he was passed down the black lightning and had gale/storm release (laser circus). But this latest chapter shows about have a dozen shinobi from the cloud with this kekkai genkai (seemingly not a clan either). Just kinda made Darui seem a little less spectacular. I guess storm/gale element is essentially just the vanilla ice cream of kekkai genkais.

They are rare, what you don't understand, is that every village have many great shinobi. We only those of Konoha, but the other villages would have just as much. It is only to be expected that every village is about equal in this, since else some would have fallen long ago.
If every village has about 15-20.000 shinobi, more than one would OBVIOUSLY posses great rare abilities, and they would still be very rare....

well i think it is ok for there to be only a dozen or so(clan sized) users of kkg. I think it is possible for one to make a kkg on his own(say he is fire natured, and learns water as well, he should be able to if he is specially skilled enough to create boil release. but it would be so diffeicult that only a select few could do it......

No, i understand what your saying and i wasn't trying to say that konoha shinobi is stronger than the cloud or that the cloud wasn't strong. It was simply more a surprise at the prevalence of the kekkai genkai. and i understand your statistics behind your statement (i agree with them). I was simply saying if you look at the countries, exclude dojutsu, how many shinobi are there with the same kekkai genkai LEFT. most with that kekkai genkai have been killed out. Again, just surprised by its prevalence in the cloud

well a clan would have many people in it. Basically that was probably all the people in the villaige with the kkg

No dude your just wrong. KKG are in the blood. Its you either got it or you dont. If it was what you said they just be high level jutsu

Yeah laser circus surprised me a little too, but the rest was nothing. Several people with lava release have been seen. Kishi showed the Sarutobi clan, which was probably his way of telling us that there are clans of equal strength in every village, and some even posses KKG within their blood line.
