That's just bad writing there Kishimoto, careless writing.

The shinobi alliance..40000 people come into the battlefield. They do remember that the Kages told them "You go assist Naruto and we will deal with Madara". Madara being the guy that he is is not easily forgetable (long hair and armor is a hint ) However, these 40000 people come , they see that guy chilling on a monsters head, they know it's him, and nobody, not a single one out of the 40000 thinks "hey...if he is here, then what happened to our beloved Kages?"


Only excuse I can imagine is that the HQ already know, and they already told them, but nobody cared to mention them.

And what are they supposed to do disobey and not hit madara. 40,000 go hey guys ignore shika and just parade around madara but dont hit him leav him for the kages. SMH

Nobody in this thread said anything about "running to find the Kages"

All I am saying was that there should be someone saying "hey..where are the Kages" , like Naruto said when he arrived

That is a little bad writing there, but I am sure Kishi will work it out somehow.
Probably they know from Kakashi since Kakashi has been telling Shikaku about Obito (thing we never saw happening) so it's only normal they know about the Kages too, but having Tsunade there, probably that's why they're not worrying.
