Casualties are casualties, but is anyone not slightly annoyed that they are ALL gonna take place at once, at the hands of one guy? If this war was anything but realistic we would have people dying along the way, not fodder 1-2000 all wiped out in a single attack...

Well it was their choice to attack all at once (that's what happens when you have Naruto as a leader) and Madara decided to let them come into the juubi's mouth.
