Well every time i see to these feudal lords i burn with anger and tell to myself why even kishi got in his mind abt feudal lords??
Wen mei and other shinobi were fighting black jetsu tryna protect those damn feudal,their reaction was."oh how am i supposed to concentrate on playing cards wen so much noise is outside?".
Those feudal dont give a damn abt that world war and keep on busy playing nuisance.if i'd be there i'd bury them alive.

How do you think fuedal lords acted in Japan? While they didn't act as lightly as the ones in Naruto, they left the fighting over to the regular people and the samurai and most of them acted arrogantly towards their people.

Kishimoto-sensei did a fairly good job with portraying them, he only added a bit of humour to them

Shinobi are the army and the army has to be led by someone. During the time of the samurai, the feudal lords were their bosses as well, though they left the fighting to the samurai.
So why is it that weird that the daimyo in the Narutoverse act the same?
Though the daimyo in the Narutoverse are only contacted by the Kages if it's really necessary, so most of the time, it's the Kages who rule and they consult the daimyo when needed

Something like that, yeah. The daimyo are only contacted when it's really necessary, like a war that concerns all the five nations, like the one they are having now.
Aside from really important matters, the Kages are left to leading the shinobi and the villages, though they probably have to give regular updates as well
