What Interests Me about Pein's Summons:

Remember when Jiraiya asks where Pein got his summons? We never learn. His summons are some of the most intense shown so far, the self-replicating dog alone can beat most anything. We know they have the rinnegan and they have the same poles in them that manipulate the 6 paths. They always seemed Chimeric to me, so maybe Pein created them.

Maybe with the Rinnegan he was able to manipulate living matter into whatever creature he wanted. He made creatures that had wild skills and even worked off each other (crazy fast bird with bomb-shits, chameleon who can disappear).

We have Mt. Myoboku for the toads but where the hell do you think he got his summons from and why do they have the same characteristics of his paths?

May in his rain village those summons are stored in some places and those dead persons who used to be the paths of pein were stored in the lab of pein.

Urq theory on him using the creation of all life techniques to create some sort of chimeric creatures is nice...i had never thought of it that way....and also it seems that when someone with a doujutsu is making use of that doujutsu to manipulate/completely control a beast or creature the doujutsu will also appear on the creatures eyes that would explain how he was able to control the beasts and maybe he used the chakra rods to send them chakra etc...
