Maybe you should READ the manga properly, as Gaara himself said he used to kill to feel liberated and blood excited him.

1: Am I supposed to care about politics? The point is forgiveness, then a side that is tainted by the blood of countless innocents, is in no position to forgive anyone.

2: Wars result in blood-shed. There is ZERO nobility in murdering people for your own nation. Get off the nationalistic crap you are so high on no offense, because your posts reek of Patriotism and the ensuing BS I don't support or give a damn about. So let's be clear on this front, as it's parochial and gives rise to violence and superiority complex in nations.

3: Stop posting non-sense. Gaara said so himself that he killed people to 'feel alive'. If it was in part one it means it is irrelevant to the story? Get out. He is a genocidal manic gone cringe-worthy nice. It doesn't mean it washes away his heinous crimes against innocent people. If he can be forgiven, then Sasuke has literally done nothing other than self-defense killings or attempted killings.

Can't believe you are even defending a mental dude that killed for pleasure and pointing fingers at Sasuke who got thrown in impossibility difficult situations. Your lop-sided attitude is astounding.

4: BS through and through. Personal factors are much more important that Patriotism and the related non-sense. This 'protecting people' is preposterous. Why should Sasuke lay his life down for unknown people? Would they lay his life down for him when the need arises like his brother did? I can't think of anyone doing so other than Naruto. Kakashi and Sakura tried to kill him and the rest of the teams were following the same policy. Why should Sasuke protect such people who are quick to give him a death sentence?

Naruto's parents died by choice, and Kyuubi killed them. Sasuke's parents were butchered along with his entire clan for National agendas and pro-senju sentiments. One never had parents, the other one saw everything with his own eyes and was tortured into reliving his parents death by his own brother at a tender age of 7 and then again at 13. How can you even compare the two?

Im sure he can be forgiven if a certain "somebody" asked for him to be forgiven. Possibly ask after saving the world. -cough- Naruto -cough- Hmmm. Forgiving someone after what they've done because you understand why they did it. Sorta sounds like people who understand one another. If I remember correctly. In my opinion, Sasuke can't be forgiven. Why? Because he had defected from his village which I'm led to believe is a huge crime. Actually attacking the five Kage's is more like attacking five Presidents from five different countries.

Don't really agree. Because it's about the posture of the heart. In other words, the motives of the person. Sasuke had intent to kill, so whether he killed or not doesn't really matter to me E.g. He was willing to kill Sakura (and would have had Naruto not intervened). There are many other examples i can't be bothered mentioning xd

As for Sasuke's forgiveness, I still think that even Sasuke can be forgiven,, provided that he repents, but i doubt that he will be so easily accepted back into the village, if he even is at all. Although Naruto will ultimately have to fulfill the promise to Sakura (and himself) to bring Sasuke back in order to show he's ready to be the Hokage, so he probably will be brought back. My thoughts exactly. There is no way Sasuke can get off after pulling that stunt. If they catch Sasuke they won't give him a trial he will just be killed on the spot.

If you beat someone down to the point they take their own lives that's essentially murder. If Deidara and Danzo didn't kill themselves he would have finished them. Also I'm pretty sure he killed those samurai considering suigetsu was infuriated that Sasuke told him not to kill but was doing it himself.

I would think posing as a threat to Konoha would be reason enough for him not to be forgiven. Fact is, that Naruto and Itachi are the only two Sasuke could really call his true allies since their intentions are for his happiness and his freedom. Naruto is the only one alive who hasn't felt the will to kill him, undermining that he's his equal. Sasuke's intent is murder. That won't be overlooked. For him, I don't think it is a matter of forgiveness any longer, since he could quite bluntly not give much of a shit. It's succeed in his mission of vengeance, or be killed trying... Which in my highest demands, won't happen.
Hes been wanted dead since Raikage came all up in the house. I think that's when the matter was interpreted vital.
People.. Such as Sakura... Have tried to kill him. Would they pay the penalty for it? No. Because he's wanted dead. If he's wanted dead, they aren't very open about forgiving him...Yes?
However, if Naruto becomes Hokage, let's all just say none of this would matter.

I think this is all a great synthesization of humanity itself. People haunted by anger and disgust toward an individual tend to deem them irredeemable. They look past the fact that these claims make them look just as bad. Who says they're saints who can appoint a person irredeemable? Bah..
Sasuke is capable of innocence in my eyes, because hes had it before. I understand this because I was a GREAT person before my family was torn apart. This may have escaped their notice, but, Sasuke was once innocent... Without the guilt of the "blood" on his hands. After all.. He did say his dreams are of the past... It's the most valuable factor of his life.
Humanity itself is a hopeless case when it comes to this.. They don't realize that there is always a cause of hatred, and to attack an individual and not the cause of hatred... Can only send this hatred into an ongoing cycle. It's their tragedy, I guess.
I do think that as long as this innocence had at some point in time existed.. There is a place inside of him that lives and breathes as that innocence.
Or maybe that's just me.
