My views on why he needed the rinnegan was for the gedo mazo and the six paths of pain. Now we have the juubi, so he has no need for it anymore, he never uses its abilities as it is. He has he defensive powers, but I think its to for him to reclaim his offensive pwoers. Kamui is the best sharingan ability imo, i doubt those fodder eyes have power of that amount. It is so pwoerful that kishi couldn't give both eyes to the owner xd

Also I dont think it'll happen. 1. Thats Kakashis signature sharingan and their only way to attack Obito. 2. If he transplanted his old eye and tried to deactivate his sharingan hed have one activated and one not haha.

I don't think that would be the case my friend. The only time we have witnessed people who can not deactivate their donuts, are non blood line, like Ao, Kakashi, and Nagato. If what you said was true, then people with EMS would never be able to turn off their sharingan, which we have seen sasuke do.
