It is the people that should apologize to Karuma and not the other way around, through centuries of being controlled and being kept painfully sealed away and being forced into using its powers has made Karuma into the mindless killing machine it once was.

Given the nature of the sealing technique on Karuma within Kushina which looked pretty brutal and painful for Karuma i'm going to say he has nothing to apologize for, Naruto understands this and wants to change Karumas perception of the shinobi world. so no apology

technically it didnt matter they both were going to die anyway kushina from the nine tails extraction and minato through reaper death seal and kurama just acted on instinct when he seen that shrine he wasnt tryna get sealed again if u were him wat would u do just lay down and take it plus he saved naruto hella time so let the past stay the past he changed anyway thats all that matters
