I think everyone on NB keeps forgetting Edo Madara's Perfect Susanoo clones. He can sit back and let them do everything; I think 3 would be all that's needed to take on an Itachi + Sasuke combo.

Or that the Rinnegan eyes Nagato was using originally belonged to Madara. This should mean that Madara can do everything Nagato could have done and possibly more.
