Nice thread, you need to show this to those people who think Sakura can actually beat Hidan.
Plugging chakra points has the additional effect of restricting a persons movement in the area that has been struck due to how close the chakra network ties in with all of the body. If enough chakra points are closed, then Hidan wont be able to move anymore and would be considered to not be a threat.
I guessing no one is going to put comments and thoughts on the OP?
Anyway, Naruto had all his chakra networks close, that did not stop him from moving and releasing his "2nd chakra" blocking Hidan's chakra does not immobilize him as I said earlier:
"Hidan can survive with his body ripped to pieces, chakra network completely dissembled, having his tenketsu closed is not going to kill him. And in the meanwhile, standard Jyuuken is pretty much nothing to him since organ damage clearly doesn't matter to him.
Even if it were to stop, Hidan still wins through his taijutsu feats and stamina."
You did good, and Hidan by himself would be a real threat to anyone without knowledge, but with it, he is the weakest of the akatsuki simply because he is a one trick pony. It would still be difficult to defeat him in close range unless the person is a good taijutsu user as well, but other than that, Hidan has no other special skills that would keep him in a fight.
Thank you, and I agree he is a "one trick pony". Once you know his tricks, the 2nd time around finding him makes him no good. But that is not the case in vs. and 1v1, he is not FORCE in plot (Having to accomplish his Akatsuki's assignments) to leave the battlefield to not finish his opponents. That's how he lost the 2nd time in the story because of knowledge, preparation, and preparation of location. Coming with no plans in 1v1 and your pretty much done for.
Naruto is different because he is the titular character and even with his determination he said himself that he could hardly move.
This still doesn't defeat the purpose of Hidan's own body structure Hidan's body>Naruto. Also the opponents that Neji has caught in 64 palm/chakra blocking were people that lacked taijutu skills. If Guy with Nunchucks be defeated by Neji?
Again, its not about killing him because he cant die anyways. Its simply a matter of immobilising him so that he cant fight anymore. Closing enough of the tenketsu can normally immobilize a person to the point that they cant move or use any sort of jutsu.
There is nothing that Neji can do that can immobilize Hidan. Hidan has dealt with actual damage then just block chakra. Having dealt with actualy damage also destroys Chakra networks. If Hidan were to get his hands removed or stabbed in certain places, all the network of chakra being there is gone. Hidan clearly shows that it's not stopping him.

He has taken lots of damage, but he is still impaired whenever any part of his limb is injured to the point of impairment, which would include impairment from the closing of tenketsu. There is nothing that Neji can do that can immobilize Hidan. Also Scans:
Notice that he said he can't move. That is because of the Shadow possession. The jutsu binds the opponent.
"taijutsu master who is also faster and has much more experience in the field of taijutsu."
So then what does this conclude to an S-rank ninja who main fighting style is Kenjutsu?

Who Neji or Naruto? If Naruto, you are still concluding Naruto has a better chance then tanking 64 palm then Hidan. And notice I haven't said Neji could even pull it off to Hidan, I'm stilling talking about a "What if" situation.
I believe that Shikamaru used his stitching jutsu so that Hidan wouldnt have a chance at breaking his shadow possesion jutsu in order to retreat to his ritual sumbol before Asuma could decapitate him.
What I was trying to bring out from that scan was that Hidan has been pierces in places that destroys the physical and certain tenketsu areas that should be destroyed. Getting the tenketsu is destoiyed is more effective to Hidan then blocking the flow, because eventually the blocking is not permitted nor is damaging to Hidan.
Neji has also fought Tenten before, and she specialises in weapon, so I believe that his experience with fighting a weapons specialist willl be useful in fighting Hidan. So then what does this conclude to an S-rank ninja who main fighting style is Kenjutsu?
I understand your POV, but its not a matter of "tanking" it as you say. 64 palms causes the same effects to anyone who is hit with it. Its those who are really determined that actually try to stand up and fight again, despite the lack of chakra in their bodies, which has shown to be very difficult, even for Naruto himself.Who Neji or Naruto? Conclusion: Damaging the body also destroys the tenketsu that has been damage. These are ineffective to Hidan.
Dammit, why wont you convert!?! xd
Trust me I love Neji, I just refuse to believe Akatsuki member to lose to people who can fight jinjiriki's/buiju's and simply cause of bad match up.

Ten-Ten hasn't shown Kenjustu skills nor will it compare to Hidan. I really want to see a Kisame vs Neji thread now and see how this turns out.

64 cause the same effect but to will it do to someone who just complains about pain but still moves 100 percent? Also, isn't the determination enough for him to still go at it with Shikimaru when his whole body decapitates?

And yet still be alive waiting for an escape?

Again, I totally get what you are saying, but even when he has been pierced in those places, he hasn't shown the ability to move those limbs exactly like he could before. He doesn't have any type of healing jutsu to repair any damage done to his body, which is why Kakuzu is there to stitch up any of his more severe wounds with his threads, though the only real wound that needed to have been stitched up at that time was his head.
Wrong you can make a logical conclusion that the damage done by opponents will be reconstructed. He is not going to have a broken femur forever after stabbing himself. Plus Kakuzu only stitched up only anything Decapitated
Explain to me, what Hidan does to defeat Neji, cuz from what I have seen, Neji can see any of Hidan's attacks from almost ANY angle. Hidan's taijutsu is unpredictable, but for someone like Neji who can see all around himself, and has the rotation..he is hidans worse enemy, sure Hidan gets a drop of blood, neji closes his chakra points, OP no jutsu Hidan.
Some ninjas on par with the higher end of Konoha 11 as well as the higher end of Konoha 11 have chances at beating Hidan in some scenarios.Hidan is far too underrated, now he's being put on par with the Konoha 11 xd
Still weakest akatsuki next to Konan, Neji solos.

OT: Hidan is a high jounin level ninja.
Nice thread, i agree. Hidan is underrated

I totally agree with you.
He is not underrated. Everyone knows he is a mid/ high jounin level ninja, This is not underrating.
With knowledge, almost half of K11 can beat him.
No the other two chunin did squat, the fight was Asuma and Shikamaru VS Hidan. Eventually if it wasn't for Kakuzu, Hidan would have lost the fight. Still Hidan is superior to Asuma but that doesn't make him kage level since Asuma is no where near the level of a kage.Enjoy your neg rep
LMAO, what a joke, he single handled 3 chunins and 1 jonin by himself. He's definitely kage level. Go learn some facts.
No I think only Neji can. Rock Lee, Choji, Sai, Shino and Sakura all lose to Hidan. He is not underrated. Everyone knows he is a mid/ high jounin level ninja, This is not underrating.
