Usually I would give Temari the win with mid difficulty but their strength was probably closest during this time than any other time afterwards. Shino would probably hide behind a tree to defend against a few wind attacks, and send his bugs to force her into retreat. I wouldn't doubt his ability to use the hole in the ground to catch Temari from behind.

However, if you're talking about the CE progressing, then Temari had already fallen for that trick against Shikamaru. I doubt she would fall it again.

Well since you made this CE Temari VS CE Shino, you did the right thing because any form of Temari from the SRA or Shippuden would win without much effort.

I guess it would be a good fight and since Temari's jutsu at this point in time was rather weak, Shino could use the nearby trees as cover. He also has the options of using bug clones to fool Temari while he launches a surprise attack from the back if he manages to catch her off guard.

Not sure how durable his bugs are, but they could help him in protecting against Temari. The thing is that Shino's bugs can be blown away by Temari so Temari gets an advantage in a jutsu clash. At this point in time, jutsu clashes didn't guarantee you victory but then again, Temari beat Tenten effortlessly by blowing away her weapons. Who is to say the same doesn't happen to Shino.

Since Shino specializes in wide spread attacks and Temari's attacks during the chunin exams were far from widespread, Shino would probably overwhelm Temari in the end. It all depends on how many bugs he can control during that point in time and it also depends if Temari can't outright kill them which I believe she can but they did tank Zaku's attack didn't they?

For now I'll say Temari high difficulty.

True but unlike Shikamaru's shadows, Shino's bugs can be blown away so the disadvantage of facing Shino's widespread attacks are nullified.

Well Kankuro basically got blind sided. They're not really fast enough to blitz people but they're actually good at catching people off guard (crawling into Zaku's arm and stuff like that). I don't think Temari would fall for it anyways given the scenario. Both of them are pretty smart so it comes down to jutsu vs. jutsu most of the time in these cases.

Well Kankuro basically got blind sided. They're not really fast enough to blitz people but they're actually good at catching people off guard (crawling into Zaku's arm and stuff like that). I don't think Temari would fall for it anyways given the scenario. Both of them are pretty smart so it comes down to jutsu vs. jutsu most of the time in these cases.

Oh true I forgot but in a forest, I definitely see Shino wining, in an open field Temari would most likely win. In the same area where the chunin exams occured it could go either way.

During the chunin exams her wind jutsus weren't that powerful but yeah she isn't getting destroyed by Shino's bugs but neither is Shino getting destroyed quickly either.
