Kabuto was in SM all the time -.- 1 on 1 and itachi is alive kabuto would have owned him, every rational person knows that. he only survived white rage, muki tensei and the bisecting because he's an edo tensei. i doubt izanami would work when it's caster can't even complete the loop, izanami's prep time is horribly long and itachi only made it because sasuke backed him up, it's that simple.


that said, kabuto has now lost all of his abilities . he was however virtually invincible and lost only to plot, same as with nagato.

There was no time where kabuto would have killed itach, both times he was stabbed it wasn't even really itachi. Any person with a logical mind knows that

Assuming he breaks the Izanami, he'll be still have everything but Oro's chakra.
That means he'll still have access to:

DSM - This he learned on his own.
Hawk Techs - He assimilated them into his body.
Edo Tensei - He knows how to use the tech still.
Sound 5 Techs - He assimilated them into his body.

Oro's summons/techs - Possibly lost because Oro took his Chakra from Kabuto. Its not the same as the cursed seals though because those were Oro's sage chakra sealed into the person. Kabuto implanted DNA into himself. That means there's still a possibility that he can regenerate Oro's abilities. However its more likely that when Oro took his chakra back he removed that capacity from Kabuto, DNA aside he probably took back his life force rendering any Oro DNA kabuto has unusable. That is up for debate though, but its what i think. The only reason this comes into question is because he needed Anko to harness Oro's chakra to boost himself even more. Does that mean she was a well, or a bucket? did the chakra replenish itself in her, or was it one time use?


What we should focus on is the extent Oro's chakra augmented Kabutos. He still has knowledge/access to all of the techs above except probably oro's, we know that he lost the power but can he regain it later?

The sage mode requires chakra control and chakra capacity to use; considering what Kabuto did to himself through experimentation and survived i think he still has the ability to control DSM.

The kekkei genkais I think he can also still control. They were DNA augmentations. Again his body was able to handle them.

Edo tensei he still knows but since the release he'll have to redo the rituals to get back anyone who was summoned/released by Itachi. However, the amount of summons he can control will be diminished because he lost Oro's chakra.

Assuming he's cut off from Oro's power indefinitely we have the following questions. How much did Oro's chakra augment his abilities? Can he still use the kekkei genkai together? Can he control the kekkei genkais as easily now? Was his chakra strong enough to handle sage mode before? How many edo's can he use at once?

All things considered, he should still be able to use the abilities from above, but in a diminished state. If that's the case he's still pretty strong compared to the top tens flying around.

small question: Wouldn't Kabuto need more human sacrifice to use edo again? Remember he did release the technique.

so you're saying that the itachi who got forced out of his susanoo by white rage, the itachi who got skewered from half a dozen sharp rocks and the itachi who got bisected by kabuto were not real? not to mention the itachi who got trapped in tayuya's genjutsu. lol no wonder you overrate itachi. i'm not talking about kabuto stabbing the karasu clone twice to form the izanami loop.

Kabuto has nothing. He never had the chakra reserves to ever have DSM. All the Edo's are gone so he doesn't have that either. He goes right back to where he started, as fodder. Before you flame me think about this, he lost to a kid Naruto. How are you Oro's right hand man but you lose to a kid Naruto who could barely perform Rasengan properly at the time. After I saw that he just became fodder in my eyes.

Lol, all of the DNA transplants helped increase Kabuto's chakra so he will most likely still be able to use DSM since all he needs is high chakra reserves.

Kabuto was able to control 30+ Edos for up to 2 days and then fought against Sasuke and Itachi w/o showing any kind of chakra issues. Losing just Orochimaru's DNA isn't going to make his chakra drop back to how it originally was.

In spite of what Kabuto does or doesn't have I still think he has some unseen role yet to play before the end... I for one am looking forward to seeing the reunion with Orochimaru... he'll either thanked for being a good subordinate or Orochimaru will unleash a bootupyoass no jutsu on him for screwing with him... can't count the second biggest weasle out yet...
