Would you recommend this manga (or anime)?

Honestly speaking, would you recommend this manga/anime? Most of my anime-loving and manga-crazed friends love this series but I'm not sure if this should be the top of to-do list. I want some opinions, what do you think of this manga/ anime?

How's the artwork, storyline, characters, et cetra?

Fairy Tail was recently recommended to me by a friend. Yes, I like the art work it sort of has a comical side to it that I like. Natsu looks a bit weird but it does not matter. If you are into the fantasy adventure stuff I'd recommend it as you are taken into a complete new world ~ which is awesome from my perspective. The characters a good as well, even the girls ^_^ Natsu reminds me of Goku/Naruto.

Fairytale is like one piece, only like, 2 guys die throughout the series, everyone else is just defeated and never seen again

I never read fairy tale and I don't know anything about it. Well, I see people posting good about fairy tale, so I guess I should read it. I'll tell you later on after reading a chapter from Fairy tale. Well, which is the best chapter of fairy tale?

if u go after anime den naruto series is not just the thing for you : there are alot of flashbacks and fillers to start with and art work is not good most of the time. Apart from that the Story line is pretty cool ; easily the best. The Manga is the bestestestestset !!!!! in the world.

Look I think it's a great manga/anime but that's just me, there appears to be a lot of haters and you know what...haters gonna hate. I would suggest giving it more than a few chapters to really get into it or even just get into the anime.
