Hinata was awesome that time as well. I mean I LOVED the way she said to pain that I am not letting you touch naruto and her look that it was fool of confidence, I LOVED IT! And I freaking mean it.

Well, all you have to do is connections. Kishi always uses hints, patterns etc.
People took for blind what Sai said when we clearly know that Sai still has things to learn when it comes to feelings and human behaviour. He might've been right about the fact that she didn't lied to him with that smile but about what she felt Sai is wrong. he doesn't understand a woman's mind like Naruto does too.
Even Jiraiya says that he is still dumb and doesn't understand how a woman's heart/mind works.
Plus all of this contradicts what Kishi said "I felt like depicting an honest girl with a stubborn determination".

But seriously, I honestly do not see Naruto and Sakura ending up together. I think they are going to be unhappy if they do..Sasuke will always be between them. If he dies, Naruto will blame himself and feel like Sakura is just pitying him and being with him(if they end up together) and if hes alive, he won't be able to focus on anything else except Sasuke. Also, if he is alive, Sakura probably won't have the easiest time getting over him, she probably will choose Sasuke over Naruto.. I mean she still thinks about him like in that manga chapter about the honest guy..she didn't think about Naruto, Sasuke is the one that came to her mind. I dunno..my 2 cents.

We already know that during the Pain arc, Hinata confessed her love to Naruto

But since that moment, we still don't know what were Naruto's feelings after hearing that.

Remember though that when Sakura confessed her faked feelings to Naruto, Naruto who usually would have loved Sakura telling him such things, only pushed her back saying he hate her for that
