OT: Defense is a combination of many different attributes. The best defense is the one where you don't get hit. So I say Obito's Kamui ability.

Perfect Susano'o is debatable. It's certainly ranks extremely high for defense but there's a part of me that thinks Hakkeshou Kaiten could be as strong since it's constantly regenerating...

I would say Perfect Susanoo is the best defence.

It would be Kamui if it would involve tanking but instead, those who use it to avoid damage aren't actually there. Though if you mean as a way to avoid damage altogether then I would say Kamui.


I wouldn't say the perfect defence though since Susanoo itself could fall prey to certain techniques such as Preta Path and Kamui could be countered if there are enemies on both the main battlefield and in Obito's dimension.

It depends on the type of defense it is. There are many different types that can be used for many situation. Some can defend from all sides, some require lots of chakra to use, some are only effective in certain situations. The list goes on really.

garra's sand is automatic but can be pierced with a simple chidori so that's out ruled

neji's rotation has never been known to be penetrated but something tells me it can

susanoo is probably the best but if you wanna get specific i'd say itachi's susanoo, his yata mirror is unbeatable in theory
