Sasuke's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan
I was gonna make this thread long and detailed, but im too lazy. The gist of this thread is EMS grants the user new abilities. First people need to understand what ''Dōjutsu'' means it's short for Eye technique. Who are some people with Eye techniques? Simple Itachi, Neji, and Nagato are some who all have a Dōjutsu. Im sure you all know what power their eyes hold, and what abilities they can do by now.
Now the Sharingan we know can foresee movements, before they happen. Allows the user to break Genjutsu, cast Genjutsu. etc..
Mangekyō Sharingan - A new Dōjutsu, let's use Sasuke for example. Along with keepin the Sharingan abilities the Mangekyō allows him the powerful fire technique Amaterasu , the almost unbreakable genjutsu Tsukuyomi, and the use of Susano'o.
Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan also known as EMS on the base, is a new Dōjutsu since you can tell the design is different from his previous stages of the Sharingan. I've seen many people on the base say EMS grants no new power, the user just won't go blind. Which is false. I'll show you what the manga said.
1. Madara said after his brother died, he only left him his eyes and their ''Power'' key word is POWER
2. By changing host the user gain a eternal light, and a new Ocular Jutsu were born from those eyes. Ocular means eyes or vision, & ofcourse ability means jutsu or techniques. This let's us know Sasuke EMS will have new abilities.
3. Sasuke said he could feel Itachi's power flowing through him, he could feel himself getting stronger. Then the side panels says what will his brother eyes bring him question mark. That is still the mysterious what new abilities EMS will grant him.
