Scammed a huge company into bankruptcy by himself to avenge his mother, consistently owned people in the Liar Game, and has the heart to still help people like Nao out of the game. What else can I say? The manga just wants you to love the guy and to have him destroy his opponents. His opposition:

I've actually read some of those books. Can't say I remember too much but those were pretty neat stories from what I can remember.

My favorite would be Light, but the real mastermind out of all mangas and animes is Johann from monster. His ability to manipulate human's mind is incredible, at age 10 he managed to make 50 people to kill each other without moving a finger.
