on your profile page, there should be a tab for customizing your profile, then there will be a section for changing the background and instead of choosing a color, choose custom file, then pick a picture from your computer then upload it.

Oh well, if you go on your profile close to the top,right corner (next to 'Posts Thanks/Like') there is a button that reads :'Customize My Profile' (has a paintbucket icon next to it too).
>You click the button. Now a new menu has popped up pushing down your profile.
>You click on the squares next to each section (except if you know the color code, then you can type it on the white area instead)
Any changes you do happen real time, so you will actually be able to see what each field changes.
>You play a bit with the colors until sth you like comes out of it.
>You click the Green 'Save' button on the top of the menu. (next to 'Revert' and 'Default')
>DONE!
